While it may be true not all life threatening health issues are preventible the evidence if favour of identifying the vast majority is indisputable.
We do wait for serious problems to developed in the critical things we depend on so why should we take a different approach to our most valuable asset , our health, when the vast majority of medical conditions today can be detected in advance and complications avoided by health checks.
Our focus is on real health concerns not simply undertaking the vast litany of test we have access to on site and through laboratory testing.
Regrettable this is often the basis of health prevention in larger centres who utilise tests based on their ready access rather than justifiable medical value.
We do NOT undertake these "Executive " type screens which are often more based on ability to pay for every test available rather than any realistic cost benefit assessment based on sound health prevention principles. We do not by default recommend full computerised lung function analysis ,for example , in somebody with no clinical indication because no real value of such testing is validated.
Like wise we do not offer vision screen to those how ave already had full vision assessment with your optician or Medical Ophthalmologist;
